Dr. Boah is an incredible doctor who truly cares for her patients and is very knowledgeable and up to date on the latest research. She is wonderful at explaining things clearly and listens to her patients requests and feedback. Her office is also very cozy and well decorated and the staff are very sweet and friendly. I would definitely recommend Dr. Boah to anyone looking for a warm and knowledgeable Rheumatologist.
I would like to thank Doctor Boah Akua M.D. for her properly taking care of Luz Mina. Doctor Boah diagnoses Luz with seronegative rheumatoid arthritis and prescribes Luz with the correct medication to help Luz symptoms. Doctor Boah is very professional., kind and caring. I would give Doctor Boah a ten star. The staff at this office have terrible manners. The doctor did correct them in the moment, but both the receptionist and the assistant were extremely rude and unprofessional. During the exam, the assistant made an unnecessary and passive remark, which came across as condescending. The receptionist was visibly annoyed when asked a simple clarifying question and responded with a dismissive and rude comment. This was a disappointing experience overall. Dr Akua is not the reason my mother passed away from ovarian cancer, but she is the reason why it went unchecked for so long despite my mother’s continuous mentions of what we now know were symptoms. My mother was very in tune with her body and any changes she may have experienced, so when she noticed something was off in her uterus/stomach region she told Dr.Akua hoping to find a solution.
