Dr. Yoo and team will only help if you have the right insurance and enough money. If your insurance isn’t top notch, expect your “treatment” to take years, with unnecessary procedures, repeated treatments from your previous physician, and probably some unnecessary medical devices, just to keep you a patient longer. I was shocked when he refused to diagnose me. I previously saw this doctor who was very nice for my neck problem but did not have surgery with him. Now, I returned for my back pain, which is a separate issue, but he refused to diagnose me and simply asked me to leave, despite my attempts to explain. I have no idea why. Do I have the right to choose the doctor I see?
Was bombarded with questions about my SSDI as soon as he walked in the room. Asking about why am I on SSDI. How long I've been on it. Etc. I was there to see him about my degenerative disc disease in my neck. One thing he said to me was your neck wouldn't "fly" with social security now. Keep in mind this is his first time ever seeing me, he has no clue of what I've been though mentally or physically in my past, to pass a judgement on me about my SSDI. If I could give a zero I would! On the day of my visit his nurse told me “he’s really crabby today”. Then the doctor came in, told me that he would not see me and that he would not charge me for the visit that day. When I tried to ask him why he would not see me he told me because I needed to go to UW health instead. I actually just came to him from UW health where I was told they did not need to see the specialist there because I did not have the severity of what the originally thought I did. I have syringomyelia alot of doctors pass you off not Dr Yoo. I was paralyzed from my waist down I had a shunt placed Aug 2022 its now May 2024 I am able to walk 100 feet with a walker. Thank God for Dr. Yoo!!!! He's funny too
