I’ve been a patient of Dr Shen in NYC ever since he came here from Cleveland Clinic. I feel so lucky to be under his care because he is an excellent human being who is compassionate, humble & brilliant in IBD research & patient care. He always treats me like a friend & listens to mine & my family’s concerns regarding my care. I wish more doctors were like him.
It was a pleasant experience with Dr. Shen. Unlike my previous gastroenterologist providers, he investigates the reasons of my chronic symptoms, ordering a test that was never offered in the past which concluded what was not previously discovered. Dr. Shen listened and took appropriate actions. That’s exactly what you would want in a provider instead of leaving the appointment feeling invalidated and depressed. Thank You Dr. Shen.
Dr. Shen saved my life in 2003. I have been going to him ever since then. I have gone to many top hospitals, and he is the absolute best!
