I recently took my car in for a light that was on, and it was not anything wrong with the car. I called Brad Swiderski the service manager, and he advised me over the phone, what I was explaining to him, was a simple fix, it was a button that I had hit, and for me to bring it in, and he would take care of it, and he did exactly that. the reason for the 5 stars, is because any time I contact BMW service department.
