Brought car in for electrical issues several times and they were unable to address them claiming the car was “operating as designed”. However if this was the case the car wouldn’t have worked that way when I bought the car. Trying to problem solve with their team (e.g., when they were not observing the right functionality in the diagnosis or acknowledging bad performance but claiming it was normal) was quite frustrating and made me seriously regret getting a BMW. Great staff and techs. You're treated well here. Great communication.
First time BMW owner. Constant maintenance issues and a pattern of local dealers directing me to corporate and corporate directing me back to local dealers. Someone please just fix the problem. Mixed up VIN numbers, $270 just to tell me what the problem is in the first place, etc. I’ve always heard maintenance costs on BMWs were high. I can confirm they’re a high maintenance vehicle and it’s painful to deal with the costs/headaches.
