I brought my BMW in for a check engine light, which was diagnosed as a faulty purge valve. I was charged over $766.07 for the repair. Only three days later, the same check engine light came back on with the same general fault code (P0446). When I returned, I was told it was now a different part — the vent valve — and I would need to pay again. This raises serious concerns about the thoroughness of the initial diagnosis. Update to original review posted 2 years ago… If you read my original review I posted 2 years ago then here is an update. A new Sales Manager was hired for BMW Medford. His name is James Aiello. Thank you James for restoring my faith to the Herb Chambers name! As soon as James saw my review he reached out to me to see how he could turn this around. UPDATE!!!! After the response below I emailed Melissa the GM. That was over three weeks ago!! Surprise, surprise I received no response to my email. What a phony! This place is a joke they just want you to bring your car in so they can recommend phony repairs at inflated prices. Luck for Herb Chambers he sold the company because they are dragging his name through the mud. Received a limited extended warranty from BMW in the mail.
