Like others, I really want to like this place as everyone was very polite and seemed professional. I brought my car in yesterday due to a recall and unexpectedly I was given a long list of things that the car needed which ended up being a $1700 job. I was told that it would be done within two hours, of which it ran over to two hours and forty minutes and I had to cancel an appointment due to that false promise. I was surprised when informed that a software update was overdue. I was unaware of this and wondered why BMW did not send a recall when this was required. When the service was completed, I picked up the car, and immediately after starting the engine, I received warnings that the oil needed service and that another system required attention. I was told that the warnings just needed to be reset, but why wasn't it done during service?
I want to make it clear that this is not a 5-star review for the Medford BMW dealership as a whole, but it is absolutely a 5-star review for Robert Cohoon, the Manager of the Service Department. Through 2025, I’ve had concerns with nearly every service appointment at the dealership. I wanted to like these folks because people were nice and polite, but I just spent around $400 and 4½ hours paying them to fix a parking assistant issue that they didn't even come close to solving, and didn't bother even telling me that they didn't fix it. I was told their best idea was to "reprogram" the car. When I asked how long this would take, I was told "could be 1 hour, could be 2". This place sucks, I brought my car to get diagnosed because of a weird knocking noise inside the engine, and they came out with a bs conclusion saying that the “motor mount” was the reason of the weird noise. So, they’re trying to tell me that the alert that came on the dash the day before saying “engine oil pressure low” is because of the motor mount, please bmw technicians yall can do better! And on top of that they are trying to charge me $2,300 just to replace *one motor mount! Watch out y’all and have your pockets ready... read more
