There is a reason I switched from BMO to UW Credit Union. And it just got reminded again. So stupid to have to wait forever to get a debit card to add to my wallet on my phone. Why do I have to add money to set it up when I have money in my savings? So stupid. This is why I hate BMO.

There is a reason for the low reviews. The banker I worked with was unprofessional and very inappropriate in her conversations. Rather than confirm the information I presented not only in written form, but verbally repeatedly, she continued to gossip about topics that had no place in any setting outside of close friends. Closed all services at 3pm on new years eve. There are plenty of people inside sitting and standing around doing nothing.

We showed up near closing and Sumudu still helped us open up a joint bank account. Thank you, Sumudu, for staying late with us! She also got the digital account set up for us, was kind through the whole interaction, and made it a joy to Bank with BMO.

Stopped in to replace debt card. I asked how long it would be. Told a few minutes. Teller asked manager who could help me? He immediately seemed irritated. Looked around and talked with the teller to see who was available. We all could see two bank employees visiting with each other. I was told to sit down and he'd figure out who would help me.
