I received an offer by mail from BMO to open a checking account for a $350 cash bonus. I messaged BMO on facebook to have my information added to a Do Not Contact list and was told to call the Beloit location and have them do it over the phone. I figured maybe a 5-10 minute call and my request would be put in, give it a couple of months to take effect and I wouldnt receive anymore offers from BMO. Oh how wrong I was... Very poor communication. Took over a month for someone to finally get back to me.
I feel poor service to people who work 8-5 and have to use lunch hour if work close. Anyone having to cash check has to go through drive thru on weekend. If you need to see someone person would have to take vacation as no guarantee you could complete business in timely manner.

BMO still one of the only banks I know that charges $10 to cash their own checks is you don't bank with them. Not only is that the reason for the 1 star review, the three times I've made comment about it to a teller and how no other banks I associate with charge this fee, it's really always a smug response on how all banks charge this fee, and how I must not know what I'm talking about.
