This bank has to be the absolute worst to get any information out of. I would give them a zero if that was an option. Accounts closed, money sent to the wrong place. Safety Deposit box cancelled all with no notification and still no one to help explain. I am going to try calling Kamloops to see if anyone is actually running this place.

My parents were scammed and BMO took no action, did not stop repeated suspicious transactions, and ultimately appear to be the scammers as their approach was to deny and deflect. Recently, one of our accounts was cancelled with no warning. Our statement said to go to the branch. The teller had to call the BMO 1-800 number, press 1 for English, go through the menu and wait on hold for five minutes. They were as shocked at the cancellation as we were. Absolutely horrendous to deal with. I've been waiting over A YEAR for an account to be cashed out. After taking all the steps they directed me to I have been ignored and was refused to be helped in branch. I've had my financial advisor at my other bank get in touch, have spoken to managers, and am at the point of putting in an official complain to the Securities Commission. Stay away!
