Purchased a frequency counter (HP 5386A) that was not tested for FULL functionality.I tried to contact the vendor, twice, by email but got no response.I would like a full refund or an equivalent or better replacement that has been fully verified for FULL functionality.

If this problem in my ** 5386A (Opt. 004) frequency counter can be repaired by an Authorized ** service provider, I would accept BMI's offer to pay half of the repair cost. Very disappointed that I bought a used camera for our church and it does not work at all. Talked with a young lady today and I was informed that everything is sold "as is" and that they would not do anything to make this right. BMI states that they sell quality used equipment. I wasted the churches money on a worthless non-working camera. This is unacceptable for a company to say that they sell quality used equipment and then deliver a product that does not work!
I purchased an HP frequency counter from BMI a while back. They accidentally shipped the wrong one. I'll admit I cringed at the thought of trying to get thing straightened out, but it was totally painless with them shipping me the right one and giving me a shipping account number to charge the return of the one I had under. Very, very happy and would not hesitate to recommend!
