If I could give zero stars, I would. We trusted Boulevard Vet to help us as new parents to our 8 month old, 8 pound puppy. He had non-stop, bloody diarrhea on 7/10/2026. We took him to the River North location - where we have been patients since 1/2026 - for help. He got sick again on their office floor. They sent us home without giving him fluids, with a probiotic that would take "several days to kick in" and told us that he was underweight (after months of telling us to reduce his food and watch his weight). If you have unlimited money and don’t care whether your pet receives timely medical care, BLVD Vet might be the perfect place for you. I’ve been a BLVD customer for more than six years and have brought two dogs there. I’ve spent thousands of dollars with this practice, which makes this experience even more frustrating. On May 29, my 4-year-old poodle saw Dr. Nick Spano for her annual exam. She was ultimately healthy. The bill was almost $700 for a routine annual visit. Friendly staff but ask for line item pricing upfront. I paid 58 dollars for a nail trim. This was more than double what I had paid in the past so when questioned, they charged 29 dollars for a nail trim and an additional 29 dollars for a tech visit and said they charge the additional fee because their equipment is “medical” and they are not groomers. Seems shady as hell and I’ve never been charged an additional fee anywhere else in the US. Very disappointing since their staff is awesome. I won’t be returning
We had a wonderful experience bringing our pup to the BLVD River North location! We recently decided to change vets and have been to other vets in the area and this experience felt like night and day. We brought our Mini Doxie in for his first appointment with Dr. Courville and we couldn't have left feeling any better than we did. Both Dr. Courville and the vet tech, Jorge, did a great job answering questions we had and walking us through their recommended treatment for some GI issues.
