It’s unfortunate I have to leave this review but my experience with Melanie was disappointing. Our communication was great at first, however, one of my last emails to her was basically looking for reassurance that my hair and make up will last all day/night because I have a morning and night shoot. Her respond to that was basically, telling me I should look for a different vendor that would be a better fit. I was taken aback because it was so unexpected based on how the communication started. Melanie and her colleague Deanna provided hair and makeup services for my wedding. Melanie is extremely informative, professional, and she consistently provided excellent communication throughout the process, especially given that I didn’t live local to the wedding site. She uses an online portal to share documents and all correspondence, and this was very helpful for organizing my wedding emails. Melanie and Deanna did a fabulous job at my daughter’s wedding at Pines Resort at Bass Lake! They knew just how to make us all feel comfortable and glamorous without going over the top for some of us that normally don’t wear much makeup! It was a great experience !

This was a disappointing experience and am writing this review so others check this company out before they hire them for such an important event as a wedding. Melanie was deceptive and unresponsive, however, once we hired her and paid in full, we were kind of stuck. She did not respond to calls/emails for 4 weeks prior to my daughter's wedding and once she did, she assured us she would be coming with an assistant to our lodge.
