Unprofessional and uncaring and rude

I quit going to Dr. Blum because of her rude brother working the front desk.
Dr Blum has a small office. Only two ladies in her office who handle all the paperwork, referrals, insurance, etc. No nurse ,so she sees every patient. The office ladies are wonderful to work with. If they are busy with other calls they will call you back as soon as they can. Dr Blum is personable, very matter of fact, knows her medicine well and is willing to take the time to explain things to you. Urgent cases are taken asap. She is the best caregiver my husband and I have ever had.
Dr. Blum's office was apparently too busy to process the referral for my colonoscopy so she caused it to be cancelled after I had already started fasting and was minutes away from taking the prep. Her office then proceeded to tell me she wasn't going to take my BCBS insurance plan even though she told me in late 2016 she would and she was contracted for my plan, including on the BCBS website. No way to treat patients!
She is quite wonderful in her really dedicated, sweet and concerned approach to all aspects of ones health. She looked after my late wife and I since she opened her practice years ago. During my wife's last illness she gave her every help and consideration. I cannot speak highly enough about her. Staff are fantastic, too. Nothing is too much trouble to anyone in the office. You will have a superb experience by joining up with them.
Dr. Blum is VERY personable and personal with her patients! You don't feel like a number, you won't feel rushed....you feel significant because she actually CARES about you. She's conservative in her approach and that's something I value; however, she also LISTENS to you and will guide your body down a healthy path. She's very accessible and intelligent and kind. I will continue to brag about her always!
She is the best PCP I have ever had. She is caring and has a good sense of humor. I trust her fully. Her office staff are great gals.
