Had a really good time with family, hiking in the woods and down by the rocks. Beautiful views over the water and really well kept grounds. If I had to pick an area of improvement, there was only one bench along the way for us to take a rest on. With kids rests are helpful, so that would have been nice to have more benches. One last thing was that the one little bathroom on our hike was pretty nasty. It was a pit toilet which we would expect to be sorta smelly and somewhat gross but it was exceptionally disgusting. Great scenery. More of a walk than a hike but make sure you take the back trail and don't just stay on the access road part. It's 5.24 miles if you walk the airport side and then take the woods trail to the "shell tree" beach, it's a tree that people put seashells on the branches. From there you follow the trail along the back side and get some beautiful scenery. There's one part in the woods where Disney could remake live action Bambi and people would think it's CGi

Beautiful to admire the view. Nice area to fish or hike. Has a boat launch.
