My first review got deleted because the owner does not know how to accept his wrongdoing. This place is not the place to go to rent anything. They are money hungry. I do not recommend this place.
Informative staff with friendly nature. Pricing was decent and the Cumberland River is an excellent choice for first timers.
I had my first experience kayaking here yesterday. It was a lot of fun and the staff was very helpful.
We had a great time. Equipment satisfactory and in proper working order. They do not have a convenient way to launch the kayaks as it requires carrying down 10 giant stone steps, then boarding the kayak on slippery rock ledge at the bottom. Totally do-able if you have some experience, can carry your own kayak overhead, or have help. Also, they should have a half-day or an hourly price. Its $25 for the day until 6pm whether you pick it up at 9am and have it all day, or stop in from 4pm-6pm for just a couple hours of paddling.... read more
