My name is LaTonya and my family (Ashford) vacationed at Bluewater vacation rental Emerald Island on August 10-17 2025. Our experience was not pleasing this time around. We have stay this house once before I think in 2017. To whom it may concern, First let’s start off with the nasty unclean bathrooms, floors, broken toilet& oven knob. We went 8/10/25-08/17/25 7011 ocean drive and the house was very nasty the stove knob was broke, the pool and hot tub was so dirty. The linen wasn’t on the bed. We called and talked to Ms Lee to let her know about the house she try to smooth things over and told the maintenance man to watch out for us. If we paid a lot of money for this house it should’ve been cleaned and power washed. Not happy about our stay and we have stayed here before and didn’t have any problems. My family and I were so disappointed with the service at this beachfront property! The home needs major repairs! Painting, new appliances, new toilets, the shower outside need power wash, new blinds. I spoke to the Maintenance Manager Ms. Lee and she refused to return my calls!! I think the homeowner and the Bluewater Realtor, should pay close attention to the Clint’s concerns! We deserve a refund for this type of service. We paid a lot of money for this house!!! Planning to take this complaint one step further!
We rented with Bluewater a new property on Emerald Isle for our July 4th vacation. Upon our drive to the property, we were notified by text that the property would have pest control the following morning due to ants in the kitchen. First they told us it was routine maintenance but then following up with the maintenance company, they told us the real reason. This wasn’t a good first impression. EDIT: Bluewater was gracious enough to reach back out, both to further explain the situation and ensure our satisfaction. I appreciated this gesture and it made us feel a lot better about working with Bluewater in the future. --- Green Pool in Emerald Isle We paid thousands of dollar extra for "Cross Pointe" because it had a private pool, which we wanted for our young kids.
