We have been loyal to Bluewater but they continue to let us down. Three vacations in a row the pool that is advertised as an amenity has not worked. No toilet paper in the bathrooms, dirty floors, and various other issues that were never rectified. After being loyal Bluewater customers for over a decade, our recent stay was a mix of safety issues and management neglect. We rented a "Blue Pearl" property, which Bluewater markets as their highest standard of luxury homes, and our experience was far from it. The elevator trapped my 85-year-old father, requiring a fire department rescue. We reported it, but Bluewater never followed up on its status or repair, leaving him to slowly and carefully navigate the stairs for the rest of the week. My parents paid nearly $9,000 for our vacation rental and we were extremely disappointed. Communication with the management company was poor throughout our stay. The pool and hot tub were filthy and never cleaned, even after we reported it. We resorted to cleaning the pool ourselves just to be able to use it. The pool heater was broken and never repaired during our stay. From the moment we walked in the door it was unacceptable, all floors/sink/furniture/shower/dishes were filthy, there was pee on the toilets, nasty liquid in bottom of trash, egg on silverware, splattered food on side of refrigerator, 3 broken pillows with stuffing exposed, 2 broken clothes hanger clips in balcony, saw 2 cockroaches (first one with 30min of checking in), property had supposedly JUST been cleaned, reached out to management who send a housekeeper the next day, when we returned nothing had been cleaned, they th... read more

Horrible experience and would not recommend anyone to stay at a Bluewater Vacation Rental! We had nothing but issues while staying at the Pierless Vista and the homeowner refused to rectify any of the issues we had. Property was not at all like pictured, it was very deteriorated from the photos they show probably from the property being a lot newer. Homeowner is completely negligent on up keeping their property as a rental. We paid almost $19k for one week of stay at this house and we spent hours of our vacation time dealing... read more
