I took my boat in for a service this summer. Dakota was very helpful and pointed out some issues I needed fixed one of them being a safety concern as my boat did not have a blower motor in the engine bay, so that got installed, my harmonic balancer got replaced along with a new belt. They also installed a new carburetor as I requested, drained my fuel tank because there was water in it and rebuilt my Berkeley jet. Now my boat is running in tip top shape and I couldn’t be happier with the service! Thanks again.
Self diagnosed alternator issues . Took it in for confidence and professional opinion . 3 weeks to get boat in during busy season. (OK, it's summer) . Asked them to test charging system and battery. Two weeks later picked boat up excited to head to Lake. Death clicking when I tried to start it . Battery dead and done. Did they jump start a shot battery to test the alternator? Had a fantastic experience with the front counter staff and the mechanic’s at Haney marine. They initially came to look at my family’s boat where it was being stored to assess the damage and talked about options for repairs with us the same day.
