This place is a Joke! First follow up appointment the Dr informs me she just took on a bigger case load, but assured me everything was fine and to just call and she wouldn't let me run out of medication. Call about my meds on Thursday June 25th and told by a Nurse to kerp my phone on me as she would be calling me back ASAP to inform me about my meds and if the Dr was able to have meds overnight to keep from running put. If you're on Medicare and don't have money don't call this place they lie and tell you you better serve somewhere else without even seeing you when it's really just about my insurance. I don't know who Dr Powers. Never even heard of her. But I can tell you she's part of the healthcare problem in America you have people with no money in the woods suffering from mental health getting denied appointments because of their insurance. True discrimination is in between the rich and the poor. Bottom line.
The nurse practitioner I was seeing at Blue Water Behavioral Health was very understanding and a great provider. Unfortunately many of the office staff and manager of Bluewater Behavioral Health are extremely unprofessional and lack basic empathy and compassion for patients.
