Apparently Bluewater has gone bankrupt. We went to pick up our boat and the landlord was blocking entry to the shop to prevent Bluewater from removing assets. Luckily our boat was still in the water so we got it back, but we had prepaid for half of the agreed upon work, which hadn’t been started. I assume that money is lost.
I have been trusting Bluewater rigging with my boats for over 18 years. I've always been happy with the work performed. Over and above the work, I rely on their expertise to design, plan, install all the systems on my boat. The Espar hydronic heating system was installed as if it was an OEM. It's worked flawlessly for 11 years. Following their suggestion, we upgraded the Navigation system to PC based. I couldn't be happier.
