Popped in for a quick brunch after an early morning flight. This is a good place for an informal breakfast or lunch meet-up. The menu is reasonable and not overwhelming. They serve good, quality food (that you actually want to eat) at a reasonable price point...especially for being downtown and inside of a hotel. The only downside, if there's a downside, is that the service is a little slow and if you have never been here before, you may have difficulty getting someone's attention for service or assistance.
Bluestone Lane Café is one of my top breakfast spots for a reason. The food is always hot, fresh, and made with care, and the staff truly elevates the experience—they greet you with a smile and genuine conversation every time. Call me old fashioned, but $17 for a $3 breakfast burrito seems high. Never go to a place attached to a hotel.
Always interesting being an Australian coming to an "Australian Cafe" in the US! Granola was good - fresh fruit, lemon curd and greek yoghurt to go with a light granola mix. Coffee was a bit middling - milk was too hot but good otherwise. Menu has plenty of food options in the $15-25 range and coffees are $5-6.
Soft chili scramble with avocado. Absolutely amazing.
