I was referred to Bluestar Gardens by a friend in 2017, soon after we had moved into our brownstone in Boerum Hill. It was my first time owning a proper house and I knew nothing about landscaping or gardening. We have used Bluestar Gardens twice. Once for our small Brooklyn patio where she did everything from the design to the installation and then most recently as a landscape design consultant for our entire yard in the Berkshires. Bluestar helped me with a large terrace and planters in Brooklyn. First, Martha at Bluestar has the best sense of color and planting combinations that I have ever seen - I had seen her work around the neighborhood and called her based on how much I loved it.
