Don’t get RIPPED OFF like I did, folks I had my heat pump installed last spring starting in March. When we originally met with this company, I made it very clear that we had just completed a massive renovation, and that aesthetics were incredibly important to this installation and not negotiable - What was installed was absolutely janky (Please see photos). Ed at Blueridge has been servicing our furnace for over 20 years. He has kept the furnace - first installed by a previous owner in the early 80s - running, changing bearings and burners as needed. Each year for the past 10 we have asked him about replacing it, and he has indicated that we’re just as well to keep this one going. We asked Ed for his opinion and a second quote before installing a heat pump and we are very glad we did. In the end, we went with a mini-split design that gives us the most flexibility in our three story home. The price was good value, the installation was professional, and they nicely accommodated our requests for changes from the initial quote. Prior to installing our heat pump one year ago, Ed had serviced our gas furnace for many years. We have always found him to be very reliable and available and his work has always been of very good quality. He is a pleasure to deal with and his advice has always been very sound.
