Richard be Carolyn are scam artists. They treat subcontractors like employees by telling them what amount they can invoice for and when, then once the work is completed they say “just do a little bit more” and then that’s completed they say they can only pay a fraction of the amount they originally told you you could invoice for. They have been sued 3 times for this practice. Wouldn’t hire them to build my property unless you want a lien filed by subs.

We could not be more pleased in our decision to entrust our Bozeman dream home to Blueridge Homes. While we stepped into a home that had already been designed by Carolyn and Richard (brilliantly, I might add), my husband and I relished the opportunity to work with them to the home's completion. Blueridge Homes designed and built an outstanding home for us. Richard expertly shaped the home's design to our preferences. Carolyn provided highly valuable design and project management expertise. We were living in another state during design and construction, but everything was accomplished with only 3 visits to Montana to review plans and progress and to make the necessary decisions. Our home was constructed on time for our planned move-in. We are pleased we chose Blueridge!
Working with Blueridge not only injected fresh air into our plans to build, but we were moved in nine months from our first meeting. We had met with other builders, in some cases multiple times, and were getting nowhere. We met with Richard and Carolyn and within two weeks had a contact and a week after that had draft plans.
