I got a mtDNA test done by Blueprint Genetics. My result came back but the doctor and the biolab wanted the VCF file, which is very normal for any genetic profile so it can be uploaded and verified and align it with the WGS gene profile. Blueprint said it would take 5 weeks to give me the file, when I can go online and download the VCF file from any other provider in a matter of seconds. As I am in IT, I know this is just a lie.
