RecommendedThe staff here is so knowledgeable and compassionate, I wouldn’t trust my pets to any other emergency service hospital.
After reading many other reviews we learned our experience seems very common. Our dog came in very lethargic and unresponsive. We were concerned with a bowel obstruction. They informed us that she had a very high fever and needed IV fluids as well. Then showed us a $1400 bill. My wife was a vet tech for 8 years, so when she saw the $100+ charge to put an IV in she was pissed. $100+ for the fluid that is an $8 saline solution, and another $100 for possible additional fluids. This is the worst Vet ER that I have ever been to. I had to take another pet twice when I lived in Texas and they were amazing. I will never ever take a pet back to this place. I had to come here because my Great Dane puppy broke her leg and it was after hours for my vet. I knew her leg was broken because I’ve been a trauma nurse for 30 years. The staff was amazing when we rushed our 10 yr old Husky, Zambezi, to them at the crack of dawn in a panicked state. Unfortunately, after some tests, we had to make the hard decision to have him put to sleep, and they were very empathetic and caring to both our dog and us through the whole process. We cannot express enough how grateful we are to them for how they handled everything. We highly recommend them to anyone who needs an emergency vet.
I am so thankful to all the gals here tonight! They took care of my tiny 3 pound Inheritance Dog(he was my late moms dog). So kind caring and very knowledge. I would highly recommend them. You can tell they all love their jobs and your pets! Thank you!
No no no! Unfortunately this is the only Pet ER in the area. The moment I walked in the door it was apparent that they were only concerned about money. I brought my cat in to be euthanized and the first question they asked was “Do you want to see a Dr?” $99 to see a Dr and $131 to just euthanize. I chose not to see a Dr as I had seen my sweet vet the day before. Dr. McKee is too good for words. The heart it would take to work overnight hours helping animals is unimaginable. She doesn’t have to do what she does, and she does it with so much compassion and care. I could never thank her enough for all the help and peace she has given our family in terrible times.
Thank you to all the staff at blue pearl who took care of willow back in November. Thank you for your professional, knowledge and compassion. Willow is back in Canada enjoying life and ringing in the New Years. Cheers to you all 😊
