You were compassionate and caring through out the evening. Your whole team was amazing. The only problem with our visit was that who ever filled the prescription for my dog’s antibiotics missed an obvious mistake and sent me home with one pill. How can my dog take one and a half pills twice daily for four days if I only get one pill. I realize the vet only put one pill in the computer by mistake but whoever filled the prescription can’t do simple math. Please do better next time. I live forty minutes away with traffic. Nobody wants to bring their pet to the ER or urgent care, but Blue Pearl is great when you find yourself in that position. The staff is very communicative, and even though the wait may be longer than you’d like it to be, it’s definitely faster than some other places. I also have generally found they don’t nickel and dime you or add on things your pet may not really need. And when it’s feasible, they send your pet home with you. If you can't meet the owner, run far far away. Private Equity, national expansion, year over year growth kills everything, including the soul / thoughtfulness of dog care. Why would you suggest blood work at the onset, when you don't suspect it would reveal anything that the zofran would treat? Why do I need to call back asking for a manager, in order to get a different tone from staff, or better information to help me make care decisions for my dog? What a waste
My cat was in distress. I took her to Blue Pearl in Charlestown without any appointment on a Sunday. They took her in immediately, tested her and diagnosed her with asthma. I had to leave her at the Blue Pearl hospital for two nights, but was very confident she was in excellent care. The doctor explained everything to me in great detail and the hospital kept me up-to-date with my cat's condition. My cat emerged from Blue Pearl able to breathe easily.
