If I could have given them NO stars that would have been more fitting. We have had issues in the past, BUT as a specialty vet we had no choice. We brought our dog on a Saturday afternoon, for what we thought were stomach after nothing but a big run around process, we ended up taking him back 2 days later, no better almost worst and with a INVOICE of 2100. **DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE** Our experience here was a whirlwind. We brought our cat in with kidney failure and it started out as a great experience. I'm providing the 1 star because Dr. Rosenthal and Dr. DePaula were very kind and helpful. You could tell they cared about what they do and were knowledgeable. My bill with Blue Pearl was $ 24,482. the worst part is that my dog had to be euthanized because of the mistakes of the hospital. When I went to get her ashes they took advantage of my grief and extra charge for $ 4,344, and handled me the invoices that I did not want even to see because my head was not in place. My dog is blind due to health issues. She saw Dr. Stine a little over a year ago. She was nice and appeared to be professional and well educated. Dr. Stine prescribed my dog eye drops. Every morning and evening my dog has received these eye drops religiously. Since she has been getting these eye drops her eyes have had zero inflammation. I was a very happy momma. I have never been more horrified by any experience like the experience I have had at Blue Pearl. The two times I’ve used them (one in Brooklyn and one by this location) I have been treated like dirt. They have been horribly rude and horribly unprofessional. For people that deal in animal emergencies, you’d think they would focus on customer service. Not them. They should be shut down as a practice. Do not go here.

My 70 year-old mother has a dog who has been going to the north hills PSVEC FOR YEARS! She’s spent THOUSANDS of dollars there with MRI’s, bloodwork, appointments, etc. She had an appointment with neurologist in March but, due to COVID, it’s been cancelled. Terrible experience. My dog was possibly dying and they refused to save him until I payed a $900 upfront cost for the possible procedure they MIGHT have to do. They tried to have me sign him over for adoption if I couldn't front the money. While crying over my precious puppy the workers were all telling me that a lot of them would love to have him and take him and that the clinic would save him only if I signed him over. My cat broke her leg and I sat in the parking lot for 7 hours for them to tell me if I don’t have 2,000 up front to basically go fuck myself and if I could afford 500$ they’d splint it. So I do the 500$ because who can pull that out of their ass at 6 am. And they bring out my kitten tell me noting and than proceed to walk away and not give me her pain meds.
