The staff at the Derby St Blue Mercury are so wonderful! My daughter had her make up done professionally for prom at another place and was so unhappy with the outcome because it looked nothing like herself. We walked into Blue Mercury and the staff were immediately so kind and understanding. They put her at ease and helped to completely re-do her make up. It was absolutely perfect! Ikram in particular was so talented and went above and beyond. We are beyond grateful and will be back!
Nice store & staff. However, I am giving 2 stars because of the treatment they give customers depending on their appearance. When I walk in head to toe in Hermes I am treated like royalty, when i wear sweatpants I am discarded & barely acknowledged. I find this behavior extremely judgmental & unacceptable. Sickening that staff judges your appearance and will give you less help if you don’t look their “standards”.
The entire team at Blue Mercury at Derby is incredible! They are all super friendly, helpful, not pushy at all, always smiling and welcoming! Lisa and Ikram are the absolute best! Lisa actually drove to another BM location to pick up my eye cream for me so that I had it before my work trip! All the way to the Chestnut Hill location! Love the crew at blue mercury. If you haven’t been in a while you need to try again! The team they have now is so helpful and knowledgeable and never pushy. Ikram is beyond amazing and I even hate putting her name out because i don’t want to share her but she’s too good to not share! Ha- but truly I can’t say enough great things about everyone there. If you need a little pick me I highly recommend!
