I’ve lived two blocks away from this store and have been shopping here for years. Until recently, I always felt the customer service was excellent. However, since the staff changed, the experience has been noticeably different. On my last visit, I was looking for a specific lipstick shade. An associate showed me 3 options, and when I asked if we could look at a few additional shades, she responded, “You’re welcome to walk around the store and look on your own,” before returning to the computer and completely disengaging. If I could give zero stars I would, I’ve never had a victim mentality in any situation, but there were two workers that were helping people and I had just waited 15 minutes and after 15 minutes I had just said could I please get a sample of these two I knew exactly what shade and they never went to do it. They just completely ignored me. I had to go up to them to even be acknowledged. There was another Indian couple that walked out as well not even acknowledged looking for help. I had the most amazing experience at Bluemercury, thanks to Claire! She is incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and truly attentive to my skincare needs. What really stood out was her kindness and the qualities that are often missing in customer service these days. Claire made me feel welcomed and cared for, and her recommendations were exactly what my skin needed. I highly recommend seeing her for all your skincare needs!
