We've owned Bluegreen for 8 years, platinum for 3 years. We get first pick of the best reservations, and rent enough weeks to pay for all of our maintenance fees and most of our travel expenses. As time goes on and we have more vacation time and freedom, our vacations just get better and better. We trade into RCI to get Caribbean dive trips, but we also spend lots of time at Bluegreen resorts in FL and elsewhere. I love Bluegreen and have been acquiring deeds or points since 1999. I now have 21,000 every year points plus week 25 fixed week at one of the Florida oceanfront resorts. I've never been there yet, but I bought it for a song on Ebay and I've used it for RCI trading weeks. I sure wish Bluegreen would get another property along the Gulf Coast in Panama City or Alabama, getting in there is rather difficult but I love the idea of the new resorts they have added lately. Stayed here for 3 nights (Spring/09) around when it first opened. The room smelled musty, just like it smelled in my college apartment when we had a mouse problem. gross! The pool was nice, but the poolside bar was small with very limited hours and food options. I used the gym twice and it was nice; spacious, new equipment and several TVs mounted on the wall. This is one of the worst timeshares one could be involved in. Info isn't updated routinely and they don't care your satisfaction as long as your mortgage payment is coming in.
Nice low rise resort convenient to public access beach. Pool and hot tub. Nicely appointed, simple, what you need at the end of a day of fun and sun. Convenient to the beach and highway 59
