I took my 3 year old Bunny Mrs Whisky for an amputation and the amazing Dr ( Dr Stoneman) did bun bun’s surgery! The whole staff was absolutely wonderful and so talented and caring! And Whisky (even though he is upset having a cone on lol) is happy and healthy! If there was ten stars I would put ten! 10000/10 will go back again for any future pets or anything comes up!
Have been using Bluegrass Vet for awhile for my 5 yr old Havenese. Was quoted $1500 to have her teeth cleaned . Said she needed 3 teeth extracted. Took her to vet in Brentwood. Did not need teeth extracted. Cleaned teeth under anesthesia with blood work/ cost:$400. (?) I will not be back!
Saying goodbye to a beloved pet is one of the hardest things anyone can go through, but the compassion, professionalism, and genuine care shown by the team at Bluegrass Veterinary Hospital made Buddy’s passing a little easier to bear. The worst vet ever. There solution is reached out to the practice manager, which I don’t understand because we’re there to see the vet not the practice manager not very caring for animals. Every time you call the front desk nobody answers nobody has solutions. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anybody.
The entire staff is amazing! Our girls get so excited to come and see everyone. From Jo at the front desk, to Leka, to Dr Stoneman, they love everyone. When our Great Dane was having trouble walking, Dr. Stoneman went above and beyond to try to help her. We unfortunately had to let her go, but he (and the rest of the staff) were there for us up until the very end.
