RecommendedWhile specializing in diesel engines Bluegrass Diesel has a great machine shop and can do any machine work to your gas engine. Tom in the machine shop is from the old Monarch machine shop and he has a ton of experience with engines. The owner and other employees are very friendly and helpful. These folks will get you back on the road. It's what they do.
They put a new motor in one of my machines. They did a pretty good job. Had an electrical issue and it wouldn’t start 4 days after it was installed. The owner put someone directly on it as soon as I brought it in. They chased down the issue and didn’t charge me any extra. Very down to earth guys who understand what it’s like to run a small business. Would absolutely recommend them and they will be fixing more of my stuff in the future. I wouldn’t take anything to Bluegrass Diesel. They had my Yukon almost two months to rebuild the motor they broke my mirror and refused to admit they broke it. They cracked my grill on my Yukon and they left a bunch of body clips out of my inner fender wells so they were flopping around. I didn’t mind paying over $3900.00 to get my engine rebuilt but I do expect some level of professionalism.
