This was by far the worst job I’ve ever had, You’ll work 65-70 hour a week and only bring home $700-800 a week! they lie to you about the miles your going to get paid, the trucks are junk I was assigned a truck that had mold in the freezer and mattress & seats had stains on them but the trailers are worse they have holes in them, dirty & most shippers won’t load them I’ve driven 600 miles to be denied and had to wait for 2 days for a new load! They don’t tell you the truth when you come on. I was told the route would be to Trenton Oh and back and occasionally a Louisville or versailles run, however , that’s not true. It was every day and 13 to 14 hour day . No work life balance there. If you’re a work a holic then maybe this is for you. But normal people don’t bother.
Very unprofessional dispatcher. Robert don't no how to dispatch. Miles are terrible. Short runs. Only average 1000 miles a week. Jim the safety director and Neal the recruiter are very helpful when you need something.
