BCBSTN has a new prescription policy that certain meds need to have pre approval from BCBSTN or you will have to pay full price. Doctor sends in over a week ago and still not authorized. Been taking this med for a while and now there has to be some authorization. Certain meds are necessary to manage and function in daily life. I don’t understand this. Employer insurance next call is to HR to voice frustration.

BCBS Insurance is ok but Customer Service is not helpful. Spoke with a Crystal over the phone for claims questions and was very unhappy with her service.

if I could give zero stars I 100% would. It took we HOURS to find a doctor that was able to deliver my child at a hospital that takes my insurance. The hospital that I can see from my backyard was unable to take my insurance even though every single doctors office took my insurance. When I called to get help we sat on the phone for over an hour calling around to different doctors trying to find someone who could deliver me at the hospital that takes my insurance which is on the other side of the city.
