IT WAS THE PERFECT LOCATION FOR A WHIRL WIND WEEKEND. THE HOUSE HAD ALL WE NEEDED. DEFINITELY WILL RECOMMEND!
We stayed at the Treetop Studio and it was very comfortable, clean, and well-located. However, the property management company proved less than customer-oriented when problems arose. The bikes provided were disappointing, too, so don't count on those if you're hoping to buzz around town on those.
Bluebird Day Vacation Rentals is my "go to" stay whenever I visit my son in Bend. This time I was traveling with my sister and wanted a two bedroom cottage in a great neighborhood. We chose Desert Moon and I have to say is my absolute FAVORITE if you need something for just two people. Desert Moon has everything and more... We planned a 4 night trip to Bend with Bluebird Day Vacation Rentals in the Aspen Getaway house. Overall the location is good for walking to restaurants and bars, though it is amongst a block of commercial properties and next door is an abandoned house. The biggest issue we had was an absolutely terrible bed. It was so sunken in on both sides, our heads were actually below our feet. Stayed at Huckleberry Cottage in August 2025, and had a great time. It was the perfect size for 2, great location (short walk into town and next door to Boneyard Beer), driveway parking and clean and comfortable, especially the bed. We travel to Bend every year and would stay here again.
