Have stayed here a few times. Always peaceful, a beautiful setting. We often walk into town through the bush via the laneway behind ... but it's a long walk! Self catering. (It's not a hostel, so Ron must have reviewed the wrong place.)
Absolutely one of the most beautiful places I've stayed ...right in the middle of the bush and just up the road from the town of Denmark WA if u like the quiet...walk trails ..beautiful scenery and the need too get away from it all... I 100% recommend this place for u "..the house is lovely will sleep a large family ...one of those supply as much as u can places ,but beautiful
Lovely rustic home with plenty to do. Pretty walk to town, close to beach and wineries. Great for dogs - dogs allowed inside to sit next to fire. Recommended.
The hostel was conveniently located and had a spacious dormitory. But in October when I was there it was freezing cold with a fire being lit on only one of the four evenings. There was only one pot lid in the kitchen and no sharp small knives. Dirty dishes left by the guests were not washed by the owners so I had to wash them myself. The owner was not friendly to myself and other guests.
Lovely facilities, comfortable beds, well appointed with all requirements from necessities to board games. A beautiful bushland setting only a few kilometres from the town centre. We will be booking it again.
