We recently took a vacation to Hilton Head and several friends told us we had to stop at Blue Water Seafood on our way onto the island. We listened but weren't sure exactly what we wanted so we just got some shrimp. While on the island we decided we wanted grouper one night but just ran to the closest grocery store. The fish was fishy, still had bones and was very pricey. So, on our way home we stopped back at Blue Water and bought the most beautiful grouper. Incredible quality and great prices. They guys at capt Mikes blue water seafood have all worked as commercial fishermen and know what they are doing. Easy to stop coming to or from Hilton head. Do not pay high prices on island and quality is not as good either. Easy detour off 95. I just loaded up coming back from Jacksonville, FL to Charlotte. Their fish is so fresh you don't even have the fishy smell. I just prepped a hand cut salmon filet and some grouper and you could not even smell i had 6 lbs of fish out in the kitchen... read more
