Brought my engine in for cleaning and honing. Ended up paying more than agreed upon up front. Instead of honing the engine to a known diameter (.01",.03") my engine was honed to .004" over standard bore. Can't use standard piston rings now without oil blow-by. This will require me bringing the engine elsewhere and paying someone else to fix the over bore issue. Touting all of the experience, I feel this is poor workmanship. In the end I end up paying twice for the same job. Beware, seek other machine shops!
Very knowledgeable, prices were very reasonable, and overall did a fantastic job with my LS motor. Would highly recommend this shop.
Had a good experience getting an engine remanufactured here. Prices are on par and the turn around was fast, good communication along the way. Very happy I chose to bring my car to blue water engine.
