This place is iconic… We stopped here while traveling down Route 66. The owner was so kind. He took time to explain to us the hotel and the significance of it and its history. We also tried to stay another time and it was sold out so call ahead. There’s not too many rooms but what they have is pretty amazing and the lights are spectacular.!

Blue Swallow Motel was one of the highlights of our Route 66 adventure. In a time when so many of the old neon signs have gone dark, it was refreshing to see the Blue Swallow proudly keeping its iconic neon lights glowing each night. We thought we were just paying for a place to sleep, but we got so much more—an unforgettable stay at a beautiful historic property right on Route 66.
