The rooms are dumpy and not very clean. Carpets are worn , walls need paint, shower floor is stained, dead bugs, cosmeticly
Is it the fanciest motel absolutely not! It is very retro. But it is clean. Has a pool and a hot tub. It is close to a great beach for shells and I did find sea glass. Very quiet here. There is also a bus to ptown right across the street. Staff has been very friendly and very helpful. I was nervous after reading the reviews here but I will be booking again next year! * update on year 2. This room is even better. You have to remember it is retro and keeps charm that way. I recently booked a stay at Blue Sea Motor Inn based on its positive ratings and beachfront marketing. After checking in and seeing the accommodations, my family decided to leave and book another property. The biggest surprise was that our assigned room was located across Route 6A, on the opposite side of the road from the main beachfront property.
