Our animals have the best veterinarian in Williamson County! Unfortunately, she works at a clinic that is no longer locally owned. Since Blue River PetCare bought Hutto Vet Clinic, policies and process for obtaining some medications and prescription pet food have become more and more tedious. Our Dalmatian was recently prescribed the c/d food to prevent urate stones. Do not let them purchase your clinic. They lie and ruined one of the best veterinary hospitals around. Their district managers are like bouncers and threaten staff because they aren't bringing in enough money. All they care about is money. They don't care about you or your pet. They only care about themselves. We have lost so many clients and staff due to their unprofessional methods. I am being totally honest. These people will destroy your hospitals reputation. South Auburn Vet Clinic in CA was bought by Blue River. They added a $29 charge to euthanasia for a rabies shot!? FIRSTLY, this senior dog was current on the vaccine and if anyone had asked, proof could have been provided. The owner, my 84 year old friend, was distraught enough to lose her dear 15 year old pet. She is on a fixed income and to add insult to injury afterward was told it is policy to give a rabies shot before euthanasia.
