Our neighborhood lost a giant today - the 100 year old American Elm on Carlton Place had developed a huge crack, and the city foresters concluded it was at risk of major collapse and could not be saved. The City entrusted Dustin and the Blue River crew to safely disassemble the old girl. They came with a bucket truck and a 100ft crane. These guys were working on a tree in the same neighborhood as my friend and I were. When my friend was in the tree, he cut an artery with his chain saw. These guys came to the rescue and saved my friends life by getting him down the tree so that Emergency personnel could get him stable and rush him to the hospital. They saved my friends life. Thank you guys and God Bless you! Every single one of them that helped is a true Hero!!!
