A must SKIP. Horrendous practice. Seriously for many reasons.
I cannot speak highly enough of the Blue Ridge OB team. We started with another OB office in Raleigh and had a horrible experience. Due to the lack of response and care from the previous office, I ended up in the ER. It was confirmed I had a missed miscarriage. I asked the hospital for a recommendation for a different OB office and they recommended Dr. Anderson at Blue Ridge. Dr. Anderson was nothing but kind and I was completely comfortable. Horrible. For the last 7 years I have been a patient, only come once a year for my annual. So again I was a patient for 7 YEARS. The check nurse all the regular questions...but more..more like I was a new patient that the did not have any information on...how many kids, live births, etc....My daughter, my first child, who passed away birthday was the day before this appt...these questions made me upset, I am trying to handle loss and grief...she apologizes and says they haveva new record keeping system.. I haven’t had the baby yet, so maybe that will change my mind, but this place is so disorganized. I have yet have a smooth appointment (where I wasn’t waiting over 20minutes or they hadn’t scheduled the wrong time). They kinda need to get it together. Doctors are generally nice.
The staff from the front desk receptionist, to the nurses, including the physicians took care of me from beginning to end of my pregnancy journey. Appointments were timely. I was nervous about having my 3rd child in a new state. Dr. Gunter took care of me the whole pregnancy. He helped me to manage my blood pressure and ended up being the doctor to deliver my son by csection. He always answered all my questions with a smile. I am very thankful for him.
