The team at Blue Ridge Care are wonderful people to deal with. They not only took great care of my wife they also sat and talked with me about what my concerns where. My wife didn't want a hospital bed or morphine in the house. Even though she knew we would need them. The care team respected her wishes. But they also respected mine by having what we needed on standby. I called 8 o'clock one morning and the bed was delivered the next morning and I picked up the morphine the same day. There aren't adequate words to express how wonderful all our care givers were and still are at Blue Ridge Care! My husband made the extremely wise decision to enroll in hospice care well ahead of when we thought he needed it. As a result, we had outstanding nursing care, social services support, and spiritual guidance as my husband lived his final months. Care doesn't end when your loved one passes either. The kindness, consideration, and service our family received while working with Blue Ridge Care, to Provide in-home hospice care was amazing. This review does not reflect on this company but instead on Morgan Hinkle. She arrived to the hospital room a day after being contacted unannounced, instead of contacting me personally. Luckily, I happened to be in the room at the time. She was standoffish the minute she walked in. By that I mean she stepped in the room and wouldn't take another step.
