The Intro to Backpacking trip was just what I needed to get comfortable with overnight backpacking. Our guide, Amy, was knowledgeable, friendly, and patient with us. BRHC had thorough pre-trip communication so I felt prepared and then outfitted us well. I hope to do another trip with them and I highly recommend this company!
I did the Intro to backpacking trip with Blue Ridge Hiking Company. They provided all the supplies and food which, was helpful, as I didn't know much about backpacking. My guide was Amy. She is an accomplished endurance athlete who has hiked the Triple Crown. She shared a lot of information about the local wildflowers and sights along the way. She was very knowledgeable about practical supplies and tips to make a backpacking trip successful. She was friendly and fun. This is a quality company!
Eli gave me a fabulous morning in the forest with wonderfully educational stories. She is an excellent guide and the company thorough and accommodating. This mini adventure was definitely the highlight of my time in Asheville.
We had a great hike with Amy! She was knowledgeable of the local trails and selected one that included the features we want (waterfalls and mountain vews). Definitely recommend this company!
We had such an amazing experience with our hiking guide Lizzy !!! If I could give her more than 5 stars I would! She was knowledgeable, fun, full of energy, and super accommodating for our private hike !! She’s an enthused lover of outdoors and nature !!
