I hiked with Jenn from Blue Ridge Hiking Company, and she was amazing—I can’t recommend her enough! Jenn chose the perfect trail based on my description of what I was looking for and made sure I was well prepared for the hike. We visited Craggy Gardens and then hiked to Hawksbill Rock and back—a roughly 7-mile hike with over 1,200 feet of total elevation gain. I would highly recommend Blue Ridge Hiking Co! Traci and Maria were amazing guides - so knowledgeable and professional while also making me feel empowered to try things on my own. I learned so much, felt safe, and was able to enjoy backpacking in a new area because of their expertise and fun attitudes. 5 stars!!
Recently rented a single tent, tent pad, and single blow-up mattress for the weekend and both the gear and service were exceptional.
Did a private half-day hike with Blue Ridge Hiking Co and had an excellent experience. Our guide, Lindsey Barr, was knowledgeable, personable, and made the whole outing memorable for our group. She tailored the pace and route perfectly and shared great insight into the area's trails and natural history. Highly recommend BRHC, and ask for Lindsey if you can. We'll be back next time we're in Asheville!
Just finished a 3 day Max Patch Hike with Blue Ridge Hiking Company. From beginning to end, they were highly communicative & supportive - to include a virtual Q&A meeting a few days before the hike. Our guide, Maria, was so lovely, patient, kind, knowledgeable, and supportive!!!! I do not have enough superlatives for her. I am also amazed how 7 hikers, who were for the most part, strangers on day one, became this beautiful team. Never lacked in topics to talk about, always a kind word or a hand up. Really magical!!
