My husband and I booked a half-day tour with Blue Ridge Hiking Co. and had an amazing experience with our guide, Brooks Coker. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the whole hike enjoyable. We saw beautiful waterfalls, a huge crawfish, a giant salamander, and even came across a rattlesnake sunbathing! I just completed the Women's Max Patch 3-day backpacking trip and loved it. We had an awesome guide, "Big Catt," from whom I learned so much. The scenery is also breathtaking. Highly recommend this hiking company -- already looking forward to hopefully doing another trip with them next year!
