Our hike with Blue Ridge Hiking Company was incredible, thanks to our guide, Adam Kampouris. He was prompt, experienced, and extremely knowledgeable about the Asheville area. Adam is also a great conversationalist, making the trek even more enjoyable. We highly recommend booking a trip with him!
I've always wanted to learn how to backpack, and the Women's Max Patch AT trip was the best trip to learn! Blue Ridge Hiking Company took care of everything and made backpacking accessible to me. We stayed the night before the trip at the Trail-er; caretakers Kate & Tom were so welcoming - they helped me fit into a backpack and told us so many interesting stories from their thru hikes. I went on the Waterfall Hiking tour and Eli was AMAZING! so knowledgeable and fun. There's no way I would have found half of the things we found without her leadership. I'm so glad to have taken this tour. 10/10 would do again.
We just completed a beautiful fall hike on the Catawba Fall Trail with our amazing guide Adam! Beautiful views, waterfalls and Adam was a knowledgeable guide of the trees, trails and offered so much more about the area! We were very grateful and can't wait to return! I recently hiked with Blue Ridge Hiking Co on a three day Max Patch to Hot Springs trip. It was harder than I expected. Our guide Lizzy was exceptional. She was so encouraging and patient. I stayed at the Appalachian Trail-er pre trip. Kate and Tom were great host.
