Classic Being a local to Burlington, I would consider Blue Ribbon to be a number one lunch spot. It has unforgettable souther chicken platters and simply cannot be out done. I recommend! Great service and friendly staff!
Great for the whole family Blue Ribbon has a real family atmosphere. Always lots of families and kids around. The food is great as well. Their One Great Chicken Sandwich is perfectly named. The chicken is marinated then topped with cheddar, bacon, lettuce and tomato. Perfect with their fries as a basket. Also the Chicken Pie they serve on Sundays and Mondays is the best around. Awesome Food! There is nothing like their signature Applejack Dressing! Eat with almost everything, dunk your fries, pour on your chicken sandwich, or put it on a salad! you have got to try it!
Okay in my book I went here with a few friends one afternoon before the lunch crows. The food was great especially tehe fried dill pickles but the service was slack.

We ate lunch here for the first time today and there isn’t enough good to say! Coming in, we were greeted immediately. The older gentleman behind us was given a chair to rest in while they waited. We watched as staff treated everyone with courtesy and kindness. Not to mention, they were very sanitary - which is important. Our waiter was very patient with us as we ordered and the food was SO GOOD and very affordable! We will be making regular trips to Blue Ribbon. Thank you so much for making our day!
Yesterday I purchased fried pickles, 3 chicken strips, and a small sweet tea. The fried pickles were way too salty as if a whole box of salt was poured on. The 3 chicken strips were not even a small child's portion, and the tea was bitter. The charge was $11.34 which was far too overpriced. I will never return again.
