Blue Ocean Design was hired to design and install a full package of furnishing and accessories for a number of houses our firm was selling in Sag Harbor NY. Iris and her staff were terrific to work with as they had fresh ideas and a full inventory that we were able to select from. The pricing and terms were fully transparent and we had great success in selling the houses. Would fully recommend BOD for any design project.
I’m not trying to be hyperbolic, but hiring Blue Ocean Design / Iris is one of the worst decisions I’ve made in my entire life. After paying a big upfront fee, the work that they produced for us was very bad and not consistent with what they described when we hired them. As an example, they produced design boards that were clearly taken from another project they just completed and not at all consistent with our design style and objectives.
