Bought a mandolin at Blue Note awhile back and found it to be a very good experience. I found the staff to be helpful when you asked them for something, but not in your face while you were perusing the instruments.
"Worst Music Store" Award – The Beatles told us "the love you make is equal to the love you take," and Ratt told us "what goes around comes around." This store has a very bad attitude, and that's probably why its usually empty. It is OK to try out instruments that you might wind up buying. It is OK to talk about guitars with other guitar players in a guitar shop.
