We had such a wonderful time - beautiful cottage, set in the bush - birds and flowers to explore!! And the Astronomy tour was so wonderful - we are planning to go again and also book son and his wife as a gift!!! Lars, the Astronomy Tour provider, spent some time cleaning up our inherited telescope, the laptop presentation (while we waited for it to get dark enough) was a 'leaning forward on the edge of your seat' time - then a break for half an hour or so while we all ate dinner. Cozy and comfortable cottage in a peaceful bush setting. We stayed there during a particularly cold few days. The reverse cycle air conditioning was wonderful and super warm. Pillows were the most comfortable I've come across in holiday accommodation. We fed cockatoos and parrots that came to visit on the front verandah. Highly recommend this relaxing, beautiful place.
Great location for weekend outing!
I was so looking forward to this. Probably could not have gone worse. I guess that's the end of this anyway. The whole dome was stuck due to rocks being in it. The guide was rude and impolite to our very well behaved children.
